01 — Why Resonade exists
Every producer knows the moment: a track comes on and you want to make something that feels like that. Not a copy, not a remake, the feeling. Resonade was built for exactly that moment. You hand it the reference, it reads the key, the tempo and the chord movement, shows you what it heard, and writes eight original MIDI ideas in the same vibe, ready to drag into your DAW.
02 — Built by a producer, not a boardroom
Resonade is designed, built and run by an independent music producer. That shows up in the details: the piano-roll editor speaks the FL Studio and Ableton idiom, the takes ship melody-first because that is what you actually audition, and the free key finder exists because checking a sample's key should never cost anything.
03 — How the engine works, in plain language
The analysis reads chroma features from your audio to detect key and chords, including changes mid-bar, and transcribes the dominant melodic material into an honest piano-roll you can check note for note. The composition engine then builds a model of the reference, its rhythm, its phrasing, its harmonic colour, and writes new melodies against that model. Every engine change is tested against a benchmark suite of reference tracks across ten genres before it ships, and take quality is scored by a critic that searches dozens of candidates per style. The output is deliberately never a transcription of the record that inspired it: what you release is yours.
04 — What we don't do
No finished songs on a conveyor belt, no drums, no stem-splitting of other people's records, and no training on your uploads. Audio is analyzed in memory and deleted the moment processing finishes. Resonade gives you the first spark; the producing stays yours.
